Bifatife Heritage Foundation is a registered Nigerian nonprofit organization committed to improving the well-being, safety, and future opportunities of vulnerable children and communities through education, awareness, advocacy, and community engagement.

The Challenge

Many communities across Nigeria face growing concerns related to child kidnapping, banditry, school insecurity, child trafficking, and violence against children. These threats disrupt education, create fear among families, and weaken community resilience.

Children deserve safe environments where they can learn, grow, and thrive without fear.

Our Response

The Bifatife Child Safety Initiative (BCSI) is a community-based prevention and awareness program under Make Nigeria Safe, designed to protect children through education, empowerment, and collaboration.

• School safety awareness workshops
• Child protection education for students
• Parent and caregiver training
• Teacher capacity-building sessions
• Community safety dialogues
• Child safeguarding advocacy campaigns
• School Safety Commitment Charter program

Expected Impact (Year One)

• Reach 2,000 students
• Train 200 teachers
• Engage 500 parents and caregivers
• Establish partnerships with 10 schools
• Create child safety awareness materials for communities
